Hello, I'm Frankie Norman, an illustrator and country bumpkin working from my cottage in Wiltshire.
Using pencils and paint to create soft and whimsical scenes, I'm heavily inspired by life in the English countryside and the secret daydreams that float into our minds when we least expect them.
My passion lies in children's illustration, believing that the stories we read in our early years are integral to who we become in later life.
With an illustration degree from the Arts University Bournemouth, I've been working as an illustrator for many years.
I have experience in editorial, publishing and licensing. Clients include: Olleo Puzzles, Owlet Press, Open Hairdressing, Lionheart Magazine, Tache Cards.
I also work on personal commissions for clients all over the world, turning their families, homes and pets into scenes straight from a storybook.
When I'm not in my studio painting (rare), you can find me twirling through country lanes, making jam or trying *really* hard not to add to my massive book collection.
